BDAA Organic Certification Schemes |
Standards Note: Demeter operates two certification schemes : Demeter and the BDAA Organic. Both comply with EU 2092/91 and assessment is carried out by a team of fully qualified inspectors and certification officers. The forms apply to both schemes as do the Demeter (UK) Standards (the difference where applicable is indicated in the Production Standards) |

The Biodynamic
Agricultural Association owns and administers the Demeter Certified Trademark in the UK and is linked with a world-wide network of independent certifying organisations under the umbrella of Demeter International.
Demeter Certification is fully recognised by DEFRA
as an organic certification body. Demeter Certification requires full compliance
to organic standards. In addition Demeter UK is recognised by Demeter
International as an approved Demeter Certification Body.
BDAA Organic Certification
Demeter
Certification also offers Organic Certification to producers, processors, abattoirs,
distributors and importers. This complies with the EU Organic
Standards (EU 2092/91).
