The International Biodynamic Association is an umbrella body of country associations. It's main purpose is to protect the Demeter and biodynamic trademarks.
The Biodynamic Section in Dornach organises the annual conference and acts as a spiritual focus for the biodynamic work. The three leaders of the Section are Ueli Hurter, Jean Michel Florin and Thomas Luthi. The winter issue 2011 of Star and Furrow carried an interview with them where they outlined their hopes and expectations for the Section.
