Application forms can be downloaded from this page or on request from the Certification office. On receipt of the completed form, you will receive a brief report and papers for your initial assessment.

Certification process

This is a two stage process:

1. Submission and evaluation of the product formulations and labels for the products under consideration. If successful, this results in a preliminary certificate which is valid until the inspection of the premises.
2. Inspection and audit of the production premises, including product traceability and reconciliation.

Labelling

Integral to the certification process is the signing of the Agreement on the Usage of the NATRUE Label with NATRUE, as they hold the label rights.

If the first evaluation is successful, licensee details will be entered onto the NATRUE Label Extranet, an online database available to NATRUE approved certifiers. Certified products will be also published on a public page on the NATRUE website.

Product certification lasts for two years.
