‘NATRUE certification: For those who are proud to use natural ingredients’

The fees for certification to NATRUE criteria are divided into two:

• Application and initial documentary assessment
• Inspection and assessment of production site.

The certification last for two years and so the fee covers this two year period. After two years there needs to be another site visit. If the formulation has not changed then there is no documentary assessment. However if the formulation changes then a documentary reassessment needs to take place

There is also a NATRUE Label Fee paid directly to NATRUE to cover the cost of the promotion, protection and daily management of the NATRUE Label.

The NATRUE Label fee costs €300 per product up to a maximum of 20 certified products. If you certify more than 100 products, the fee becomes €160 per product. This is payable direct to NATRUE every two years.

For this you get:

• The right to be able to use the internationally recognised NATRUE logo on the product packaging (certified products only)
• The right to be able to use the NATRUE logo on promotional material
• Certified products are placed on the NATRUE website with pictures and description uploaded by NATRUE in 4 languages
• Confirmation that the products comply with the internationally recognised NATRUE Standards
