On Sunday August 15th from 1 to 4pm 2010 Poyntzfield Herb Nursery Scotland
Duncan Ross and Audrey Banks GP will lead a tour of the nursery, detailing the many herbs that are used in homeopathy. Growing these therapeutic plants can help us to connect with their health giving properties. Homeopathic medicines can act as a trigger for the body’s healing processes. They work on the principle of “like cures like” - that is, a raw substance that could cause a reaction in a healthy person, when potentised, can help to heal the same symptoms of illness. The placebo effect is not usually relevant, due to the efficacy with children and animals. Some plants may already be in your gardens, others are more unusual.
Reservations can be made by email. We can also recommend local accommodation.
Fresh herb teas and scones afterwards Donations please for ROKPA , a Scottish based charity that helps Tibetan orphans.
