A quest for quality in food and farming

The quality of food depends on how it has been grown and processed. During this course we will show how biodynamic techniques can enhance the living processes of soil and plant, increase vitality and improve the overall quality of the crops. We learn about the biodynamic preparations, gain an understanding for the well-known Biodynamic Sowing and Planting Calendar and learn the value of biodynamic seeds.  It will also include practical outdoor demonstrations. Open to all

Jarman, Bernard has been looking after the grounds of Hawkwood for nearly 18 years. He has been involved with biodynamic farming and gardening most of his life and for over ten years has served as the Executive Director of the Stroud based Biodynamic Agricultural Association (BDAA).
