Warmonderhof Training Centre in Holland

Warmonderhof is offering a part-time English language biodynamic farm management course. The course is accredited to level 4 and is accessible to people with a level 3 qualification or equivalent qualification such as  the BDAA apprentice training and / or several years of relevant work experience. This might be an interesting opportunity for people currently working on the British biodynamic farms wishing to get trained in the management aspects of farming and growing.

The two year course runs for 5 weeks per year, mainly during the winter time -  10 weeks in total. The tutors are experienced Warmonderhof staff, and there are excursions to some of the most interesting biodynamic farms and gardens in Holland. The tuition fee is €650  per year plus accommodation (€ 12.50 / night) and meals.

Distance Learning Courses

The Certificate Program can be undertaken by anyone with access to enough land to form 4 garden beds. This course will guide you through first the theory behind Biodynamics and then take you through creating your own production enterprise. The course costs AU$5500 and takes approximately 2 years to complete. As a student you will need to give about 5 hours a week to the study of the course and a little bit more when the practical units start. Our assessor is Peter van Vliet who is based in the UK and offers support via phone, email and through our online forum where you can interact with fellow students.
