Mourne Grange is a Camphill Community of 140 people, situated in the foothills of the Mourne mountains, two miles outside the village of Kilkeel. The community has 11 extended households where co-workers and their families live together with adults with special needs as well as some smaller dwellings.
The garden consists of 400m greenhouse, 1 acre orchard and 1 acre soft fruit as well as 2 acres of vegetable field in rotation with the farm. We provide the community with a wide variety of biodynamic grown herbs, fruits and vegetables. We also save seeds for our own use. Our setting provides an ideal situation to learn about all aspects of biodynamic gardening as well as keeping poultry. The garden works closely together with the farm.
Apprentices live within a house community and take part in the life of our community. They receive full board, lodging  and pocket money. All expenses regarding the apprenticeship are met.
