Do you want to do something to tackle economic insecurity, environmental degradation, and social injustice? Are you passionate about Organic Farming and interested in living in an intentional Community?
We are a Camphill Community in a secluded woodland area of Bristol developing a Biodynamic 20-acre farm and looking for a committed, responsible, reliable “right-hand person” to help the land manager.
We are seeking someone who is:
– knowledgeable about the basics of gardening and smallholding – planting, weeding, harvesting, feeding and mucking out livestock
– able and willing to learn new skills
– willing to take on some of the regular tasks and generally help keep an eye on things, and work both independently and as part of a team, as appropriate.
– willing to live on-site in a life-sharing situation and stay long-term, being responsible for the well-being of the farm, and the community in general.
In particular, we would like to hear from people with experience with machinery, of presenting and marketing produce and record-keeping.
We have a land-based care home for people with mental health challenges and run it according to the principles of Anthroposophy.
