SUMMARY:Wholistic Living University Online Biodynamic Gardening Course & New Range of Practical Workshops on: Biodynamic Beekeeping\, Living Water\, and more
DESCRIPTION:A Seasonally Oriented Ecology of Biodynamic Practices\nThe existing and forthcoming programme hosted by Wholistic Living University (WHLU) is conceived as a seasonally orientated ecology of biodynamic practices\, with practical gardening and land-based work at its core. The primary emphasis lies in the biodynamic/wholistic approach to growing food\, enhancing biodiversity\, the restauration of soils\, building life-giving compost\, understanding plant rhythms\, developing clear observation skills\, and discovering the seasonal gesture\, supported by in-person practical experiences\, online learning\, masterclasses\, and the WHLU Calendar Club\, created to accompany those working consciously with the WHLU 2026 Grow your Own Health Calendar. \nAlongside this land-oriented core\, the programme is enriched through complementary strands including biodynamic beekeeping\, water phenomenology and flowform work\, observational and sensory schooling\, and embodied movement and formative arts. These offerings are developed with experienced practitioners and partner organisations\, allowing participants to encounter living processes\, soil\, plants\, water\, bees\, form\, and movement through a multi-disciplinary approach to develop coherent perspectives. Together\, these strands support the cultivation of perceptive\, responsible\, and future-oriented biodynamic/wholistic practices. \nWhat’s on offer in 2026  \nGrow your own Health (GYOH) Online Courses\, MasterClasses & Monthly Live Introductions Hosted by Hans-Gūnther Kern\nStructured online learning and live seasonal sessions providing foundational understanding of biodynamic principles and ecological thinking with guided practices to apply at home or in community settings\, for beginners\, intermediate and advanced learners.  For all details\, visit: www.whlu.org/courses \nGrow Your Own Health (GYOH) – Practical Biodynamic Gardening Workshops Hosted by Hans-Gūnther Kern Hands-on\, seasonal workshops introducing biodynamic gardening practices\, working with soil\, compost\, plants\, observation\, and the rhythms of the year to cultivate resilient gardens that nourish both land and human health (Dates and places to be announced). \nWholistic Living University (WHLU) Online Calendar Club (with GYOH) Hosted by Hans-Gūnther Kern\nA shared learning space supporting gardeners and practitioners working consciously with the WHLU Biodynamic Calendar\, offering seasonal orientation\, reflection and practical guidance across the year – for full details and how to book your place\, click here \nWater Phenomenology & Flowform Work  Hosted by Ebb & Flow Ltd\, Foundation for Water; Simon Charter and Matt Thornton\nLectures and practical workshops exploring the true nature of water through observation\, rhythm\, movement\, and form\, supporting biodynamic agriculture\, landscaping and ecological understanding (Dates to be announced). \nBiodynamic Beekeeping\, Practical Hive Work & Masterclasses  Hosted by Scott Thompson at Paradise Gardens\, London\, SW18 3HU\nPractical workshops\, online theory sessions\, and seasonal hive days exploring the honeybee as a keystone being within Earth and Cosmic Ecology\, including selection\, genetics\, and future-oriented stewardship (Dates to be announced). \nObservation & Sensory Schooling  The Healing Garden\, hosted by Kirsten Hartvig\, Joshua Bartel and Hans-Günther Kern (Dates to be announced).\nCultivating refined perception and sensitivity through seasonal attentive observation of living processes in plants\, landscapes\, and water \nEmbodied Movement & Formative Arts\nExplore Life Forces in Nature Course Leaders: Eurythmy Therapy (Katherine Beaven)\, Art Therapy (Johanna Berger)  23rd May 2026 \nAn integrative experience of getting closer to your inner and outer nature\, breathing together through embodied movement and artistic expression\nVenue: Peredur\, Centre of the Arts\, Sussex \nExperience the Qualities of the Pentagram – Gesture of Venus Course Leaders: Eurythmy Therapy (Katherine Beaven)\, Sacred Geometry (Saba Kafil) 4th July 2026  An exploration of the qualities the gesture of Venus\, the number 5 and its form giving impulse in the Rose family through eurythmy and sacred geometry sou.\nVenue:  Peredur\, Centre of the Arts\, Sussex \nIntegrate Your Diverse Soul Experiences  Course Leaders: Sculpting (Maria Albiez)\, Bothmer Therapy (Ionela Hanganu)  Date to be announced \nAn immersion through playful and sacred movement\, working with clay and forming a living expression of beauty and living proportions. DESCRIPTION:This event and workshop series is being run by Ebb and Flow Ltd in conjunction with the Foundation for Water\n” Without good quality water in the future\, there will be no nature and no community” \nThere are three separate opportunities to explore this fascinating and important topic\, and these events are designed to build on each other. It is possible\, however\,  to attend just the evening presentation (in-person or online) and/or Flowforming part 1 on its own.\nBringing water to life with Flowforms  – evening event and  lowforming workshops PDF of all details  \n  \nWhat is going on in these water sculptures?\nEvening Event:  7:30-9:30 pm Friday 13th February 2026 – \nYou can attend in person and online.\nVenue: Ruskin Mill Exhibition Room\, Old Bristol Road Nailsworth Gloucestershire GL6 0LA\nAbout this evening event: We will explore the way water movement creates forms and how this relates to the formation of organisms in life. We will also explore rhythmic movements in the Flowforms and their relation to the archetypal gestures of water seen in rivers and natural flows. We will also touch on the pitfalls of mechanistic thinking and develop a sense of how water can help us move beyond such binary approaches. Finally\, we will discuss the potential for creating individual forms as preparation for those who may wish to join the Flowforming workshops\nCost and Booking:  To register your place\, either  in-person or online\, please visit: https://flowform_exploration.eventbrite.co.uk/\nSuggested in-person donation fee: £10.  For enquiries\, please contact: info@ebbandflowltd.co.uk \nFlowforming Course Part One  –  14th & 15th March 2026\nVenue: Chalford\, Stroud\, Glos\nAbout this workshop: What are the conditions for rhythmic\, resonant flow\, and how can we create these artistically in conversation with water?  We will begin by observing flow patterns through tabletop experiments and then demonstrate resonant flow on a flow table using simple constructions made from wooden pieces. From there\, we will explore water movements on and within a clay surface on the flow table\, shaping this surface individually or collaboratively in small groups. By the end of part 1\, participants will understand how to engender rhythmical movement in water practically \nFlowforming Course Part 2  – 18th & 19th April 2026\nVenue: Chalford\, Stroud\, Glos\nAbout this workshop: In this follow-on workshop\, participants will build upon their experience from part 1 and will have the possibility to create a permanent\, functional\, weather-proof Flowform.  The Flowform would typically be made from fibre cement\nhowever creation in other mediums may be possible such as carving in stone or wood\, beaten from sheet metal\, or ceramic made and fired if desired. (Additional costs and arrangements would need to be organised in advance.)\nCosts and Booking for the weekend workshops:  \nPart 1 £265\, Part 2 £295 (inc basic materials)  Lunch & refreshments will be provided both days\nParticipants may register for just part 1  or part 1 & 2 together\nEarly bird special: 10% discount if payment for both made by 16 February 2026\nA limited number of concessions are available if needed.\nTo enquire or book\, please contact info@ebbandflowltd.co.uk
