SUMMARY:Introduction to Gardening the Biodynamic Way\, With Dr Sue Peat and Douglas Davidson- Sunday 27th July 2-5pm\, London
DESCRIPTION:Venue:  Rudolf Steiner House\, 35 Park Road\, London NW1 6XT \nBiodynamics is an organic method of cultivation arising out of Rudolf Steiner’s Spiritual research. It was his response to questions from growers who were unhappy with ‘chemical’ agriculture. Biodynamics works with the rhythms of the movements of the Sun\, Moon\, planets and stars\, to which the plants respond. The workshop will cover the background to the biodynamic planting calendar and using the biodynamic preparations. \nIt’s coming up to summer\, a time when the results of our endeavours begin to flower and fruit and biodynamics comes into it’s own. The workshop will include presentations of research that demonstrate the benefits that biodynamics brings to the environment\, the soil\, the plants and to improvements in food quality. \nFor the last hour\, we’ll stir the horn manure preparation (known as 500)\, so bring an empty screw top bottle if you would like to take some home. A 500ml bottle is enough for an average garden. The workshop is suitable for those new to biodynamics and for anyone who would like to give their garden\, window boxes or house plants a summer treat! \nSue and Douglas are enthusiastic gardeners with lots of practical experience of biodynamic gardening. \nAll welcome\, no need to book. \nFull £10 / Concession £5 \n

SUMMARY:An Introduction to Gardening the Biodynamic Way Sunday 28 September 2pm - 5pm\, London
DESCRIPTION:With Dr Sue Peat and Douglas Davidson\nVenue: Rudolf Steiner House\, 35 Park Rd\, London\, NW1 6XT https://rsh.anth.org.uk/\nTimings: 2-5PM\nCost and Booking: All welcome\, no need to book. Full £10\, Concession £5 \nAbout this workshop: \nBiodynamics is an organic method of cultivation arising out of Rudolf Steiner’s Spiritual research. It was his response to questions from farmers who were unhappy with ‘chemical’ agriculture. Biodynamics works with the rhythms of the movements of the Sun\, Moon\, planets and stars\, to which the plants respond. The workshop will cover the background of the biodynamic planting calendar and using the biodynamic preparations. It’s Autumn\, a time to harvest\, enjoy the changing colours and plan for next year. The workshop will include presentations of research that demonstrate the benefits that biodynamics brings to the environment\, the soil\, the plants and to improvements in food quality. \nFor the last hour\, you get an opportunity to stir the horn manure preparation (known as 500)\, so bring an empty screw top bottle if you would like to take some home. A 500ml bottle is enough for an average garden. The workshop is suitable for those new to biodynamics and for anyone who would like to give their garden\, window boxes or house plants a winter treat! \nSue and Douglas are enthusiastic gardeners with lots of practical experience in biodynamic gardening.

SUMMARY:Bringing water to life with Flowforms: Evening Event Friday 13th February 2026 & Workshop Series 14th & 15th March & 18th & 19th April 2026 - Gloucestershire
DESCRIPTION:This event and workshop series is being run by Ebb and Flow Ltd in conjunction with the Foundation for Water\n” Without good quality water in the future\, there will be no nature and no community” \nThere are three separate opportunities to explore this fascinating and important topic\, and these events are designed to build on each other. It is possible\, however\,  to attend just the evening presentation (in-person or online) and/or Flowforming part 1 on its own.\nBringing water to life with Flowforms  – evening event and  lowforming workshops PDF of all details  \n  \nWhat is going on in these water sculptures?\nEvening Event:  7:30-9:30 pm Friday 13th February 2026 – \nYou can attend in person and online.\nVenue: Ruskin Mill Exhibition Room\, Old Bristol Road Nailsworth Gloucestershire GL6 0LA\nAbout this evening event: We will explore the way water movement creates forms and how this relates to the formation of organisms in life. We will also explore rhythmic movements in the Flowforms and their relation to the archetypal gestures of water seen in rivers and natural flows. We will also touch on the pitfalls of mechanistic thinking and develop a sense of how water can help us move beyond such binary approaches. Finally\, we will discuss the potential for creating individual forms as preparation for those who may wish to join the Flowforming workshops\nCost and Booking:  To register your place\, either  in-person or online\, please visit: https://flowform_exploration.eventbrite.co.uk/\nSuggested in-person donation fee: £10.  For enquiries\, please contact: info@ebbandflowltd.co.uk \nFlowforming Course Part One  –  14th & 15th March 2026\nVenue: Chalford\, Stroud\, Glos\nAbout this workshop: What are the conditions for rhythmic\, resonant flow\, and how can we create these artistically in conversation with water?  We will begin by observing flow patterns through tabletop experiments and then demonstrate resonant flow on a flow table using simple constructions made from wooden pieces. From there\, we will explore water movements on and within a clay surface on the flow table\, shaping this surface individually or collaboratively in small groups. By the end of part 1\, participants will understand how to engender rhythmical movement in water practically \nFlowforming Course Part 2  – 18th & 19th April 2026\nVenue: Chalford\, Stroud\, Glos\nAbout this workshop: In this follow-on workshop\, participants will build upon their experience from part 1 and will have the possibility to create a permanent\, functional\, weather-proof Flowform.  The Flowform would typically be made from fibre cement\nhowever creation in other mediums may be possible such as carving in stone or wood\, beaten from sheet metal\, or ceramic made and fired if desired. (Additional costs and arrangements would need to be organised in advance.)\nCosts and Booking for the weekend workshops:  \nPart 1 £265\, Part 2 £295 (inc basic materials)  Lunch & refreshments will be provided both days\nParticipants may register for just part 1  or part 1 & 2 together\nEarly bird special: 10% discount if payment for both made by 16 February 2026\nA limited number of concessions are available if needed.\nTo enquire or book\, please contact info@ebbandflowltd.co.uk

SUMMARY:Introduction to Gardening the Biodynamic Way\, 15th Feb\, London
DESCRIPTION:Venue: Rudolf Steiner House\, 35 Park Road\, London NW1 6XT\nWebsite:  https://rsh.anth.org.uk/\nDate and times:  Sunday 15 February 14:00 – 17:00\nBooking: All are welcome\, no need to book.\nCost: Full £10\, Concession £5 – pay at the door \nAbout this workshop: \nBiodynamics is an organic method of cultivation\, arising out of Rudolf Steiner’s spiritual research. It works with the rhythms of the movements of the sun\, moon\, planets and stars to which the plants respond. \nThe workshop will cover the background to the biodynamic planting calendar and using the biodynamic preparations. It’s\nspring and so we will focus on sharing tips for sewing and growing food plants– from windowsill herbs to fruit trees. For\nthe last hour we’ll stir the horn manure preparation (known as 500)\, so bring an empty screw top bottle if you would\nlike to take some home. A 500ml bottle is enough for an average garden. \nThe workshop is suitable for those new to biodynamics and for anyone who would like to give their garden\, window boxes\,\nstreet trees or house plants a spring treat! \nSue and Douglas are enthusiastic gardeners with lots of practical experience in biodynamic gardening.

SUMMARY:Understanding the nature of water courses (a beginning): 1st to 3rd May 2026: E Sussex & 5th-7th June 2026: Gloucestershire
DESCRIPTION:This event and workshop series is being run by Ebb and Flow Ltd in conjunction with the Foundation for Water\n‘ Without good quality water in the future\, there will be no nature and no community’ \nYou are warmly invited to join us for the following courses:\nUnderstanding the nature of water courses (a beginning)  Download full PDF here\n1-3 May 2026: Foundation for Water building\, Pixton Hill (Behind Emerson College)\n5-7 June 2026: The Old Mill House\, th St Mary’s\, Chalford \nBoth programmes run from Friday afternoon – Sunday lunchtime. And the only prerequisite is an interest in allowing water to reveal its essential nature!!  Water presents us with some remarkable capacities\, and they all seem perfectly tuned to the needs of living organisms. In particular\, the beautiful way water forms itself in movement and in forming ice crystals seems to show not just a similarity to the way organisms form themselves but also a sensitivity and a capacity to reveal subtle forming principles. (see the work of Theodor and Wolfram Schwenk et al\, Masaru Emoto\, Andreas Schulz and Veda Austin). How can we begin to make\nclear sense of these phenomena\, such that we can work appropriately with water in our agriculture and horticulture as well as for our own consumption? \nIn this workshop we will start by observing water in flow and using dyes and markers reveal the forming which happens in the\nmovements. We can see some archetypal gestures and see how water plays with these gestures both in experiments and in a\nnaturally flowing stream. We will look at the phenomena which reveal water sensitivity and discuss what that can indicate; both for\nthe how\, where and when water is sensitive\, as well as for what it is sensitive to. This can give us a background from which to\nconsider the methods which have been or could be used for enhancing the role of water in living organisms.\nIt may be seen that good water quality is not the same for different situations and for different realms of life; – plant\, animal and human.\nCosts and Booking:\n1-3 May 2026: Foundation for Water building\, Pixton Hill (Behind Emerson College)  £255 (meals not included\, bookable at\nEmerson College)\n5-7 June 2026: The Old Mill House\, th St Mary’s\, Chalford  £295 (inc. vegetarian meals & refreshments)\nTo enquire or book\, please contact info@ebbandflowltd.co.uk or phone:  01453 836 060\nA limited number of concessions are available if needed\nEarly bird special £30 discount available for bookings 1 month in advance\nWe can supply details for accommodation if needed.

The Goddess of Wisdom\, Sophia\, will stand by our side. We ask who she is and how we can connect with her essence and her impulses. In doing so\, we want to focus primarily on her presence in and significance for our time.  The focus is on your own personal questions and your path towards the mysteries of existence. \nSophia surprises us. She often reveals herself in ways that shake up familiar ideas\, opinions and beliefs. One can get the impression that a new way of listening is needed to understand her language and messages. Her closeness to human individuality is unmistakable. \nThe seminar includes introductions to Sophianic beings\, but is primarily aimed at encouraging and supporting independent practice. All of this takes place at a leisurely pace. Meditation\, nature walks\, exchanges and discussions are elements of the joint work. \nProgramme outline:\nThe day will start at 09:30 with coffee break at 11:00–11:30 then lunch at 13:00. We restart at 15:00 with coffee break at 16:30–17:00 and supper at 18:30. We finish with a short evening session between 19:30–20:30. \nAbout Karsten Massei:  \nKarsten was born in Berlin in 1963 and worked as a curative educator in Switzerland for 30 years. SUMMARY:Introduction to Gardening the Biodynamic Way\, Sunday 24 May 2pm - 5pm\, London
DESCRIPTION:Venue: Rudolf Steiner House\, 35 Park Rd\, London\, NW1 6XT\nTiming 2pm to 5pm\nWith Dr Sue Peat and Douglas Davidson\nCost: Full £10\, Concession £5 – pay at the door\nAll are welcome and no need to book \nBiodynamics is an organic method of cultivation\, arising out of Rudolf Steiner’s spiritual research. It works with the rhythms of the movements of the sun\, moon\, planets and stars to which the plants respond. \nThe workshop will cover the background to the biodynamic planting calendar and using the biodynamic preparations. It’s coming up to summer and so we will focus on sharing seasonal tips for sewing\, growing and most importantly\, making good compost! For the last hour\, we’ll stir the horn manure preparation (known as 500)\, so bring an empty screw-top bottle if you would like to take some home. \nA 500ml bottle is enough for an average garden. The workshop is suitable for those new to biodynamics and for anyone who would like to give their garden\, window boxes\, street trees or house plants a summer treat! \nSue and Douglas are enthusiastic gardeners with lots of practical experience in biodynamic gardening
