Applications are invited for the following post that will be based in Sheffield.
Land Teacher 37.5 hours – 52 weeks per year
BSS Teacher pay scale – £18,207.36 – £33,473.97 per annum
Salary dependent on qualifications, craft experience and attainment of QTS
A unique opportunity has arisen at Brantwood Specialist School for a Land Teacher working on the main School site, Tintagel House and the Merlin Theatre in Nether Edge. You would be working with students with learning disabilities and complex needs who have not succeeded in mainstream to achieve accredited qualifications (including but not limited to NOCN’s, BTEC’s or Edexel up to Level 3).

We are ideally looking for someone who has already achieved their teaching qualification, has worked with biodynamic principles and has experience of working with young people who have special educational needs. However we appreciate there may be excellent candidates who do not have experience in all three areas so we are open to applications with experience in one or more of these disciplines but are willing to commit to further professional development. Our ideal candidate would having a full driving license and car.

A flexible and professional approach to work is required. You will be required to attend training and conferences that takes place outside of Sheffield.
