Second land worker needed to help restart a farm in Bristol area

We are looking for a committed, responsible, reliable “right-hand person” to help the land manager of our 8ha farm which is in the suburbs of Bristol City, yet feels like in the countryside.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about Organic Farming, has pioneering spirit and is interested in living long-term – for a few years at least – in an intentional farm community in a life-sharing situation.

It might be suitable for someone who as finished their organic/biodynamic training and looking for land to work and a place to live.

You should be knowledgeable about the basics of gardening and smallholding – planting, weeding, harvesting, feeding and looking after small numbers of livestock; able and willing to learn new skills and take on some of the regular tasks and generally help keep an eye on things, and work both independently and as part of a team, as appropriate.

In particular, we would like to hear from people with experience with machinery, of presenting and marketing produce and record-keeping.
