An opportunity to take on a fresh challenge and have a real positive impact whilst supporting a special place.

We need competent help with tractor driving, field work, hay / haylage making, fencing repairs, farm maintenance work, driving, Glastir work etc; and also essential; enjoying and working with young trainees.

We are a small farm charity housing an adult with special needs, now in his 60s, and providing short and long term farm placements to young people with a range of abilities. Banc Organics veg production and Community Supported Agriculture scheme is based at the farm.

Current stock includes Belted Galloway and Welsh Black cows and followers grazing at home/ on neighboring fields and on common grazing land. Not to forget the three characterful goats and of course the flying hearthrug Celyn the smiling dog.

The farm has been biodynamic for over 20 years and is now organic status. In the Gwendraeth valley, West Wales, 80 acres of hayfields and beautiful wet fields.

Accommodation available is only very basic, a caravan or small loft bedroom and of course access to the communal kitchen/ meals; (help to site new donated caravan is needed!) all food and living expenses provided plus small wage.

Long term help is also required to help carry the project forward.
