As an organisation that is all about growing, we are looking for new staff to help us grow!

We have an exciting full time opportunity for one person that could be expanded for a couple, if the right people came along. We have on-site accommodation in a good quality mobile home (with woodburner), or living very locally would also be possible.
Seed Steward (Field cropping)

Seed Co-operative is run by a small, dedicated and friendly team who cover a broad range of tasks in their roles. As we grow, process and sell seed our tasks naturally change with the seasons, which keeps us on our toes! The success of the cooperative is completely reliant on people working together to achieve great things. Team members work hard to support each other in day to day tasks and are flexible and proactive, picking up work where needed as priorities change. Seed Cooperative is growing in every sense! With strong demand to meet and internal projects in progress to support our growth, the cooperative is now on the lookout for new team members to join us on this challenging and rewarding journey.

Contact/applications: We are running a rolling application process. Finding the right person/people to be part of the team is a critical factor. We will make an offer to the first applicant(s) who seems the best fit. There is no deadline. To apply please email your CV(s) with a covering letter to secretary@seedcooperative.org.uk. We will send a contract template and job description back to those applicants that we would like to discuss working with and take it from there.

A COUPLE
We have the capacity and potential to very significantly increase our seed growing activities. Our seed sales are expanding rapidly year on year. It may be that a couple could bring skills that could complement existing skills within the team and help our sustainable growth as a business.

The horticultural skills as set out above are currently of the highest priority. Not everyone wants to move to Lincolnshire (friendly people, great soil for growing, wonderful big skies….), but if a couple were interested in moving here where one person had those skills and their partner had complementary skills in the areas of business development/marketing/administration/seed testing / IT development, or even more horticultural know-how, we would be interested in exploring the possibilities.
