Julia Wright delivered this exceptional keynote at the 3rd International Biodynamic Research Conference in the early Autumn of 2025, held at the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester, UK
In it, she explores how biodynamic agriculture can advance through appropriate scientific research and knowledge paradigms.
She contextualises biodynamics within Britain’s historical, cultural and scientific trajectory, traces the global evolution of agricultural knowledge systems, and concludes by calling for the development of a Biodynamic Agricultural Knowledge System (BAKS) that integrates spiritual, indigenous and scientific epistemologies.
