28th July 2026The Biodynamic Land Trust (BDLT) is seeking a tenant to steward Backsbottom Farm, one of its Associate Farms, in the beautiful Roeburn Valley, Lancashire.
Set on 100 hectares at the edge of the Forest of Bowland National Landscape, Backsbottom Farm is a truly special place. This diverse and much-loved landscape includes ancient woodland, species-rich meadows, traditional orchards, recovering blanket bog and much more — all nurtured through more than 40 years of organic, permaculture-inspired care.
The farm is a thriving haven for nature, learning and community, and the BDLT is looking for the right person to help shape its next chapter while continuing its legacy of ecological stewardship.
