Timetable for the Day
Members and supporters are invited to arrive between 9.30 and 10.00 when coffee and tea etc will be  provided.
Starting the programme at 10.00 with introductions we will again be hosting our Family of Farms Event.
This year we will focus on the financial challenges faced by our farms, looking at possible solutions and how we as the Trust, its farms, members and supporters, might support our farms.

Breaking for lunch and conversation at 12.15 we will reconvene for the formal AGM at 1.30pm. As the final item of the Agenda we will introduce our draft proposals for our strategy for the next five years, Strategy 2026-30. We welcome feedback from member shareholders. At 3.15 following the AGM we will be guided on a farm walk through Huxhams Cross Farm, finishing
around 4.30.

A Family of Farms Event
The Family of Farms event will be an exciting collaborative, sharing and learning process. The day will be structured around a series of presentations from our Family of Farms. The theme this year will be exploring ‘Funding for Agroecological Farms’ and the different funds available across local and national government to support farm viability.

This session aims to deepen the ongoing conversation around multi-enterprise strategies, farm diversification, and succession planning by exploring how government grants and funding streams can support farm viability. We’ll also examine how funding can enable greater social engagement through educational activities and community connection. Through farm case studies, peer-to-peer sharing, and expert input, we’ll explore what funding opportunities are available, how to apply, what’s worked well, what hasn’t, and where to seek guidance and support.

This is a dynamic, collaborative process within our Family of Farms and with the opportunity throughout the workshop for participation from all present to take a deep dive into on-farm challenges across a range of diverse farms in the UK.

Open to all – join us for this dynamic, collaborative process within our Family of Farms and have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss challenges in a changing climate, understand more of what our farms are facing and how they are meeting these challenges in different ways

The Annual General Meeting
At the AGM our Directors will present reports of activities and finances to shareholders, including information about the organisation’s developments, strategy, achievements and future prospects. The AGM is also open to non-members and will start at 1.30pm (with coffee and tea available in advance from 1.15). The indoor aspects of both the AGM and the Family of Farms Workshop will take place as an inperson event.

The Trust Strategy for 2026 to 2030
It is time for the Trust to implement its next 5 year strategy. We would like to give members an opportunity to review and influence the strategic proposals ahead of their implementation in 2026. The Strategy 2026-30 will be presented as the final item of the AGM and we would encourage members to have a look at this in advance and a copy can be found on the Trust’s website at the following link: https://biodynamiclandtrust.org.uk/what-we-do/business-plan/bdlt-strategy-2026-final/

The Farm Walk
Following the AGM and Family of Farms workshop, we will take a guided walk around Huxhams Cross
Farm. This will be an opportunity to explore the multiple enterprises on site, including the agroforestry, mixed low-input livestock systems, market garden, and more – and of course ask the big questions and take inspiration into your own communities of practice.
