A very warm invitation to come and discover more about the biodynamic preparations – the heart and soul of biodynamics – at this forthcoming Preparation making day with the South West Biodynamic Group
Venue: Whites Farm, Lower Dean, Buckfastleigh. TQ11 0LS
Times: Please come from 10 am for a 10.30am start

Outline for the day:
10.30 am: Unearth and inspect preps buried last autumn
NB – We are thinking, given the timing and the weather we have had, that this might be a bit premature to unearth the preparations.

However, we will dig them up and see how they are looking, re-burying them if they need longer.
12 noon: Early shared lunch
1. 30pm: Making a cow pat pit and digging/building a form to hold this, mixing the ingredients and placing them in the pit.
3 pm: Horn Manure ( BD500) stirring for those that wish to and clearing/ tidying up back for those that don’t.
NB If you want to stir the horn manure, please bring a bucket and if you want to take some home for your garden, please bring a bottle or an appropriate container. If you want to take some of the Compost Preparations away with you – please bring suitable containers with you to do so.
