Rudolf Steiner indicated that at this point in our evolution, certain higher Nature Spirits would be retreating and that human beings would have to take on their tasks. With this great responsibility before us, it is important to discover what these tasks are and to discern how we are to take them on. We are being called into conscious co-creatorship with Nature and Dr Steiner tells us that our mission will ‘come towards us’ if we are open and willing.

Our intellectual soul is strengthened by concepts that fit, but our consciousness soul wants to know more. It yearns to expand out into the bigger picture and to become a part of the phenomena we are researching, and ultimately co-creating with. During this course, we will be exploring more of the exercises described by Rudolf Steiner aimed at awakening our dormant capacities of supersensible perception.

Co-operation between ourselves and the Nature Spirits through methodologies like ‘Word Meditations’ and ‘Plant/phenomena Spirit Protocols’ can take us beyond standard scientific research methods. Our task is to explore the landscape of the supersensible dimensions and to recognise the vocabulary of colour, vibration, movement, mood, feeling-tones and symbology.

On Sunday we will be celebrating the Little Creation ceremony and we will be adding a new move to the ritual.

About Susan Raven: 
Susan Raven is an experienced workshop facilitator and a long time student of Anthroposophy. She has worked with the methods and exercises described by Rudolf Steiner for seeing into the supersensible realms, and has also trained with Dorian Schmidt, director of the Biodynamic Research Institute.  Susan is author of the popular book ‘Nature Spirits: The Remembrance: A guide to the Elemental Kingdom’, featured in the Cygnus magazine, Nexus, Star & Furrow and Caduceus.
