Real Food – when was it that we lost touch?
2nd April 2024If you are one of the many people to have searched out learning opportunities in biodynamics you will be aware of the variety of both hands-on practical training and virtual on-line learnings offered in the field of biodynamics and related regenerative agricultural practice.
The Board’s responsibility, within the BDA, on behalf of the association is to have an oversight of how biodynamics is represented and taught in the various trainings on offer. The Board offers ‘endorsement’ to those schemes which have presented their programme and course content to the Board for review.
In the last year this has developed into not so much endorsing individual courses only but recommending training centres as ‘centres of excellence’ for their biodynamic courses on offer.
We currently endorse the following centres of biodynamic learning: – Biodynamic Agricultural College work-based learning & on-line learning, Holistic Living University, Ruskin Mill Trust Step by Step gardening, woodland management & fish farming, the Apricot Centre, the Healing Garden at Emerson College, Waltham Place and Lauriston Farm. We hope that something to suit all levels of interest and qualification can be found among them.
If you would like a training that you offer to be endorsed or would like to discuss or seek advice about possible trainings please contact a board member.
