2020 Food Trends: Biodynamic Products!
3rd January 2020Biodynamics at Oxford Real Farming Conference 2020
6th January 20202020 may have only just begun, but Irish whisky connoisseurs are marking 2021 in their diaries! Next year, with the help of our Biodynamic Association Certification Team, the Waterford Distillery in Ireland will be releasing a biodynamic Irish whisky for the first time.
It is part of an ambitious project conceived by Waterford to prove that the soil in which barley is grown has a marked effect on the finished product. The specially grown biodynamic malted barley is coming from three Irish biodynamic farms who we also certify.
We think this biodynamic Irish whisky is probably a world first!
