To advance the sustainable transformation of food and farming, the complex and holistic nature of agriculture requires research that spans a plurality of knowledge systems and dimensions. Research in biodynamic agriculture requires a holistic perspective – not only to account for the many dimensions of farming but also to embrace the potential contributions of diverse knowledge systems to truly understand, develop, and transform the field.

With the aim of discovering new perspectives in biodynamic agriculture research, the conference will place special emphasis on holistic approaches and study concepts. We welcome research exploring various dimensions of biodynamics – whether ecological, artistic, humanistic, or economic – as well as research employing diverse methodologies and knowledge systems.

Conference Programme
The conference programme consists of keynote lectures, workshops, and research presentations in the form of short talks and poster discussions. Apart from the scientific programme, each day offers exercises in nature in the morning and a cultural or social activity in the evening.

Accommodation
You can book tickets which include accommodation at the guesthouse of the Royal Agricultural University at a special rate. The price below covers four nights: Check-in on 31 August, and check-out on 4 September.
Single room: 200 EUR
Shared twin room: 120 EUR

Extended Stay:  If you would like to arrive earlier or depart later, you can book additional nights directly with the university. Please email your request to [email protected] and mention that you are attending the IBDRC. The university’s standard rate applies to all additional nights.

Excursions: If you wish to take part in an excursion, you can reserve your spot when registering for the conference. The cost for excursions is separate from the conference ticket and shall be paid on-site in GBP. The price includes the excursion program, bus transfers, as well as meals and accommodation if applicable.
