Join Head Gardener Jen Ruge at Weleda’s 13-acre biodynamic gardens, known as ” The Field” to get hands-on experience in making some of the biodynamic preparations.  It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the preparations that are at the heart of the biodynamic approach.

Everyone is welcome –  bring along your friends and family, meet like-minded gardeners and growers and discover more about what biodynamics can bring to your plot.

This day is free of charge and hot drinks and biscuits will be provided throughout the day
Lunch – Please bring a dish to share for a potluck lunch and your own plate, cutlery and mug.
NB Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate dogs on-site.

Please use the postcode DE75 7JB until you arrive at Shipley Garden Centre, then look for the small ‘The Field’ road sign which is on the same side of the road as the garden centre.

If approaching from Ilkeston ‘The Field’ sign is on your right before you arrive at Shipley Garden Centre after the traffic camera as you come down the hill past the community allotments.

If you are travelling from Heanor, the sign is after Shipley Garden Centre on the left.

Turn down this small road in the direction of ‘The Field’ arrow, and the Weleda garden is on the left after the bungalow. Turn through the wooden gate where you see the Weleda sign and park ahead on the grass car park area.
