The race is well and truely on! Who will get there first?

We have talked before about our work with Waterford Distillery in Ireland, and Irish biodynamic barley farmers, who are aiming to produce the world’s first biodynamic whisky, possibly as early as next year.

But now a challenger has emerged is the form of Scotland’s Bruichladdich distillery!

The Scots have just revealed that they have been working with Yatesbury House biodynamic farm in Wiltshire to squirrel away five years’ worth of spirit made with the English biodynamic barley, now maturing in their warehouses on Isla.

Bruichladdich still say watch this space for a release date, but the race between the distillaries is now well and truely on!
